Brian Hubbard

Brian is a 6th generation Cedar County resident.  Brian is married to his high school sweetheart Jill, and they have 3 sons, 1 daughter, and 1 grandson.  After graduating from Stockton, he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Agronomy from Missouri State University.  Brian works for Central Seed Testing in Lamar and operates a small cow/calf operation alongside his family on the Geisser farm just southwest of Stockton, which has been in their family since 1872.  Active in the seed industry, Brian has served as president of the Missouri Seedsmen’s Association and currently serves as one of its directors. 

A Sac Osage Electric Cooperative member since 2006, Brian has served as District 9 director since 2021 after he was appointed to fill the vacancy of retired director Dr. Neale Johnson.  Since his appointment Brian has received his Credentialed Cooperative Director certification from NRECA.  “I am grateful for the opportunity to serve my fellow member-owners and will always strive to focus on providing responsible, reliable, and affordable energy to each and every member-owner”, says Hubbard.
